The General Assembly and Youth Forum of the Association of Towns Awarded the Europe Prize will take place on 1st June 2024. Mr Krzysztof Żuk – the Mayor of Lublin City, who was elected last year as a President of the Association, is the host of the meeting. The main topic of the assembly will be “The future of European integration and integration within Europe”.
We plan to start with a meeting of the members of the Association and the participants of the Youth Forum in the Lublin Town Hall follow by our deliberations in two groups. After it we are planning to organize study visits to youth spaces and integration centres for refugees and foreigners, as well as a tour of the city. In the evening, we invite you to the Night of Culture, as part of which several hundred cultural events will be organised in the Old Town and the City Centre. For willing members of the Association a trip to Lviv is planned on 2nd June, during which there will be a meeting with the Mayor of the city, a visit to the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Centre of Lviv and to honour the memory of fallen heroes in Lychakiv Cemetery.
