A letter of thanks from the Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk on the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine

Dear representatives of partner cities, Associations, dear friends, colleagues, and comrades!

One year ago today, the residents of Ivano-Frankivsk were awoken by the sound of explosions and air raid sirens. It was the first time our city was hit by Russian missiles, but unfortunately, not the last.

The first few days were a shock for all of us, but thanks to your support, responsiveness, and dedication, we continue our fight. You have become our reliable support, which has helped us survive the toughest year in the history of independent Ukraine.

I sincerely Thank you for your compassion during this difficult period for our country. Your assistance and moral support are crucial for our nation as we struggle with difficult challenges on the path to peace and stability. The humanitarian aid you have provided throughout the year has helped thousands of people affected by the war. Your support and words of sympathy strengthen the spirit of our military and civilian residents, who face difficult trials.

You demonstrate great solidarity and humanity, and this is an example for all of us. We hope for further cooperation and partnership to ensure the safety and well-being of our region and the whole world.

Stay healthy and strong, and may your good deeds always find a response in people’s hearts. Thank you for being with us in this fight. Together to victory!
